2022’s new moons bring new Allnic products!

Climbing above the established horizon, rising over summits of audio excellence already achieved… 2022 is shaping up to be as remarkable as 2021 for the introduction of great new Allnic products. KS Park’s audio engineering chops will not be restrained! Last year was huge: Allnic provided us with some wonderful new products, the H-5500 phono-stage (H-5500 page), L-6500 line-stage preamp (L-6500 product page) and T-2000 30th Anniversary KT170 power tube integrated amplifier (T-2000 30th product page)

So what new chassis bearing the unmistakable Allnic analog current meter are we anticipating so far for 2022? Already, and Hammertone had a hand in this minor miracle, with the end of production of the A-2000 25th Anniversary KT150 push-pull 100w/c stereo power amp, we bought remaining chassis of A-2000 25th and by special agreement with Allnic, a hot rod version was created for this special purchase. With a change of driver tubes and associated circuit mods, this end of run amplifier, capable of driving almost any speaker, will sound even better than the original. With Allnic’s custom touch and agreed upon price reduction from $9900 to $5900, these tweaked A-2000s will provide serious music per dollar  –  a great buy, and remember: when they’re gone, they’re gone! The end of production of the H-1500 Plus phono-stage and recent success of the H-5500 phono-stage have paved the way for a new phono-pre between the H-5500 and the H-7000. Now in production,  the H-6500 phono-stage, featuring a separate tube rectified power supply, multi-inputs and an all aluminum chassis will synergize sonically with the award-winning Rose (Rose product page) and Amber (Amber product page) Allnic cartridges.  H-6500, a great source component for Allnic’s wide range of line-stage preamplifiers – not just the new L-6500!

 

 

The H-6500 has just completed a year of international field testing and the feedback is, “A superb piece at intro price and beyond, exceeding expectations”. Introductory price is $9500. Under study and consideration (we don’t have much in the way of detail yet) is a take no prisoners KS PARK halo project.  We can tell you that it will be a unique OTL/OCL phono-stage, output transformer-less and output capacitor-less, to marry with the much talked about and coveted state of the art, L-10000 line-stage.  Think about Allnic’s OTL/OCL line-stage preamps… and think of how good this phono-stage could be… fingers crossed that this becomes a reality!

In the digital realm rather than the analog, there is also a new DAC on the way, also OTL/OCL – AND DHT – direct heated triode, analog output. We know a lot of us are running both analog and digital front ends, so this new DAC will be of tremendous interest to many, and we’ll be providing more information soon.

So, already we can see at least part of what’s in the future for new Allnic gear for 2022 – and it’s looking to prove as tantalizing as the great products that came our way in 2021.
