North America News! Hammertone Retires – Allnic, Ketcham and Corby Continue!

Changes, changes! Time is always moving on, and now – so is Hammertone Audio. After the greater part of a life in the audio hobby and business, including 15 years as North American distributor for ALLNIC AUDIO, it’s time to hit the links! Well, golf won’t be my only hobby: golfer and grand-dad by day, true blue super audiophile by night!

I’m especially looking forward to trying all the new products still to come from the fertile mind and audio engineering expertise of Allnic’s treasure, Kang Su Park.

With me stepping out, John Ketcham of Kevalin Audio (Kevalin Audio link) and Don Corby of Corby’s Audio (Corby’s Audio link) are stepping up to continue representing Allnic: Don will be distributor for Canada and John for the USA. Both have been Allnic retailers for years now and will remain so, and both are highly professional, approachable, and knowledgeable – and dedicated to the audiophile communities in their respective countries. They know Allnic and have great relationships with and the complete confidence of KS Park.  I’m certain they will continue to provide the exemplary customer service and support they’ve demonstrated over the past several years and that I have also always striven to provide.

It’s been an honour to represent Allnic and a great pleasure to introduce its products to and support so many awesome customers over the years – and to work with KS Park and other folks who have become good friends, across this continent and, in fact, all over the globe. As a confirmed Allnic fan, I’ve always been thrilled to read the great reviews, to see the awards pile up, but mostly to hear about a customer’s excitement and happiness after their first listen to a piece of Allnic gear in their home – which pretty much inevitably leads to another Allnic! 

I understand: it’s what happened to me, what got me into sharing the Allnic brand with audio friends and, eventually, into the distributor role. With Allnic, I’ve always felt like this (not necessarily with the mask! ;-)):

Helping others find gear I knew they would love has always been my major motivator – I know it’s the same for Don Corby and John Ketcham – and, of course – for Allnic.
